Ian Churchward and the Legendary Ten Seconds continue to mine the history books for inspiration, and having explored the story of Richard the Third they have now turned to uncovering stories of their home area. Some of the places and characters are familiar, but others must have required quite a depth of research, revealing aspects of local history that few will be aware of. The stories are told clearly, sensitively and often evocatively. Lockdown has certainly unlocked a wave of creativity from the Legendary Ten Seconds, with an album that can be enjoyed solely for its music, but one where the lyrics really do tell a story.
